About Client
LumoSteel specializes in manufacturing high-quality steel doors and custom architectural interior design solutions, operating in the Polish and British markets.
The loft door and construction workshop is located in Bialystok, where the entire production process takes place. Quality is supervised by an experienced team of designers and engineers, making sure that each product meets modern standards and features high quality workmanship.
Client's Problem
For a long time, the client based its business logic on spreadsheets. Over time, the complexity of these processes began to require transferring them to a dedicated tool. In response to this need, a personalized configurator was created in a web application, which allows for more efficient and professional customer service.

What we did
Determination range of product creators
Based on the existing business model and the tools used so far, we defined the start and end points of the product configuration process on the admin side. We then defined the mode of operation, scope of communication and responsibilities of the configurator intended for the vendor.
Technology
With pre-designed mockups, we were easily able to properly define our technology needs and select modern solutions to enable implementation dynamics and create a reactive application.
Real-time mapping of the product diagram
The client recognized the need for a tool that visualizes a product schematic in real time based on the parameters entered. As the dimensions of a hole or structure are entered, the system dynamically applies the appropriate lines to the drawing, which is displayed on the page and available for download.
Vendor and admin panel mockups
The interfaces of the two layers of the application - for the administrator and the vendor - were designed to reflect the character of the brand and transparently support the daily operation of business processes.
Personalization of processes
Wizards are characterized by multi-step processes for configuring the final object, which is followed by the complexity of the component processes. We kept this in mind this time, so that each of the wizard processes has appropriately distributed responsibilities without overloading memory and maintaining dynamics in each step.

Another business of a smaller company has been supplemented with the right tool to enable independent scalability of product offerings.
